12 Maaha Privacy Policy

12 Maaha is a Punjabi Nanakshahi calendar, Sikh gurpurab and Barah Maha app for iPhone and iPad. We designed it to work without an account and without collecting personal information.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal data. 12 Maaha does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, health information or payment information. The app contains no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking technology.
Information stored on your device
The app stores only your reading preferences, such as selected language and text size, plus a cached copy of public holiday data. These values are stored locally using Apple’s standard device storage and are used only to make the app work as you expect.
Internet access
12 Maaha works offline. When an internet connection is available, the app and widget may request a public data file hosted on GitHub’s Gist service. This file contains Sikh observance dates and bilingual historical text. No personal information is included in the request by the app. Like any web host, GitHub may receive standard technical information such as an IP address under GitHub’s Privacy Statement.
Widgets
The Home Screen widget uses the same bundled calendar data and may fetch the same public holiday update. The widget does not collect personal information.
Tracking, advertising and sharing
We do not track you, build advertising profiles, sell information or share personal data with data brokers. 12 Maaha has no user accounts and no social or family-sharing service.
Children’s privacy
Because the app does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data deletion
Deleting 12 Maaha removes its locally stored preferences and cached data from your device. There is no account or server-side profile to delete.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change, this page and its “Last updated” date will be revised before the change applies.
