Pillsapp is a medication-reminder app for iPhone and iPad. We do not sell personal information, display third-party advertising, or use data for tracking.
To provide medication reminders, syncing, optional family features, and reminder-call functionality, Pillsapp may process the name you provide, medication and dose information, adherence history, and device identifiers such as notification or registration tokens. These data are used only for app functionality.
If you choose to invite a family member, the app uses Apple's CloudKit Sharing to share dose status with the people you invite. You can stop sharing at any time.
Reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device by iOS. With your permission, the app may request "Critical Alerts" so reminders can be heard even when your phone is on silent — a feature intended purely to help you take medication on time.
Pillsapp does not connect to Apple Health and does not read or write HealthKit data. The medication information you enter is used only to show your schedule, fire reminders, and—if you opt in—share your status with family.
Pillsapp uses Apple services such as iCloud/CloudKit and notifications, plus infrastructure needed to deliver enabled reminder features. We do not use advertising networks or cross-app trackers. Your use of Apple services is also governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Deleting the app removes its data from your device. To remove data from iCloud, you can delete the app's data in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage, or remove individual medications within the app.
Pillsapp is a general-purpose health utility and is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
